Daylight Saving Time, part 2

OK, so we know why and when the time changes, right? Pop quiz: When is it?

Because the time change rolls around every year on a regular basis, it’s a good reminder to do other regular or semi-annual tasks that might otherwise be easily overlooked.fridge for blog

Here are a few suggestions for your “spring forward” list:

  • Make an appointment to get your teeth cleaned
  • Check your medicine cabinet and throw away any expired meds
  • Check your first-aid kid and replenish any expired or missing items
  • Review your emergency plan (hurricane season is coming!) and pack or replenish your emergency kit
  • Clean your closetsmeds for blog
  • Thoroughly clean the refrigerator inside and out and vacuum the coils underneath and in the back
  • As long as you’re in the kitchen, clean the stove/oven too
  • Vacuum and clean the lint from your drier vents
  • Flip your mattress, especially if you don’t do it as regularly as you should
  • Wash pillows and comforterscar detail for blog
  • When was the last time you changed the oil in the car? Make an appoint for that, and any other maintenance you might need. Then make the car feel better by getting it washed, waxed and detailed
  • Review your insurance policies
